TEXFOR is the main textiles industry association in Spain. As organization, it performs a dual function, on the one hand defending the interests of the sector and on the other as a cluster seeking the competitiveness of associated companies. The Cluster is grouping more than 400 industrial companies, technological centres, universities, and textile industry suppliers. TEXFOR leads the ecosystem of the textile industry anticipating the needs of the members with the aim to provide optimal solutions to strengthen their competitiveness and position in a global market.
With its multidisciplinary team of professionals, highly specialized in the specific knowledge of our industry, TEXFOR develops transformative projects that positively impacts the potential of textile companies.
In the CISUTAC consortium, Texfor is:
Facilitating the CE transition by providing ‘circular intelligence’ and building a ’coalition of the willing
Liaison with other projects & initiatives starting the initiative of building a ‘Textile Circularity Multiplier’
Contributing to the industrialization process of products with post-consumer recycled fibre content developed within the project
Supporting and contributing to education content development
Contributing to Scenario Building for the circular T&C transition through local initiatives experiences
Providing inputs for the standardisation of open data system in the textile industry
Helping in the development of Circular Economy Action Plan at local level
